Our Pre-schoolers are based in our big room which share with the toddler room.
Our preschool teachers have many years of experience and are trained in early childhood education. They have created a successful way to plan and implement exciting but challenging activities for our preschoolers. We use the early years found stage curriculum to help us with planning and guide us on your child’s academic levels and what areas of the curriculum your child needs to be focusing on. The planning implemented fits the childs individual needs and take into account their personal likes, dislikes and next steps. We evaluate the planning each day so we better our practise and understand what makes our children succeed and stay stimulated.
We recognise that future school success can depend on a student’s childhood experiences. Our teaching is planned with the physical, mental and social aspects of development in mind. Special emphasis is placed on building up a child’s feelings of accomplishment, self-confidence, and self-worth. It is important for our children to feel content in order to thrive academically.

12.15 – 12.50 Wash hands and face ready for Lunch time
12.50 – 1.00 Tidy up Lunch area
1.00 – 1.20 Circle time/ Register/ Phonics
1.20 – 2.15 Free flow child initiated play / Garden time
2.15 – 2.30 Tidy up and wash hands
2.30 – 3.00 Snack time
3.00 – 3.30 Garden time
3.30 – 4.00 Adult led activity
4.00 – 4.40 Wash hands and face ready for Tea time
4.40 – 6.00 Free flow child initiated play whilst parents pick up for home time
